Passport Photograph Guidelines
Photo must be taken within 3 months of notice. Face must cover 70-80% of the image space. No caps, glasses, or spectacles. Both ears should be visible.
Scanned Signature Guidelines
Must sign on clean white paper. Running hand signature only. Block/capital letters will be rejected.
SSC CHSL Upload Specifications - Candidate FAQ
Candidates must upload their passport photographs in JPG, JPEG format. Portals reject other file formats (such as PNG or PDF) to maintain standard server processing protocols.
Signatures must be scanned and uploaded in JPG, JPEG format. Clean white background paper is required.
Passport photographs must be exactly 276 × 354 px (or equivalent aspect ratio). Scanned signatures must be cropped to 472 × 157 px.
Photographs must be between 20 KB and 50 KB. Signatures must be compressed between 10 KB and 20 KB.
